This is his forever home. It’s free, and donations are appreciated to help with the care of the animals.

Do Sloths Live in Hawaii?

Are there sloths in Hawaii? Hawaii is a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, with a normal temperature of 65-90 °F (18–28 °C) and lots of trees that make a perfect environment for sloths.

Sloths in Hawaii enjoy the weather almost as good as their natural habitat in Central and South America.

Honolulu Zoo has a two-toed sloth named Harriet which was born on Dec 18, 2018. Usually, sloths in the wild live between 15 to 20 years, sloths in captivity have been known to live longer than 40 years.
