This is an adventure and a big leap of faith that Ms. Johnson took upon herself. Starting a new business is hard all by itself.
Starting a new business to follow a dream is even harder. I give her credit for taking the time and the effort to seek her future.

What is The Sloth Balloon That Was Created?

Starting The Journey
At the start of this journey, I had the idea that it would be so awesome to have a giant sloth balloon!
My son has been obsessed with sloths for years and when he was a toddler we purchased this giant 4-foot mickey balloon for his birthday.
It was the coolest thing! I knew this was my idea! I started creating a design and bringing my vision to life.
After contacting some professional artists to help me draw up my vision. Once I had my design down I started contacting manufacturers.
Being new to this game I never knew there was a website named Alibaba.com where you could purchase items in bulk from China and also design items as well.
I talked to several different companies before I decided on one. I needed to make sure I felt comfortable and could easily communicate with them.
The process took about 6 months for them to create the mold and bring my sloth balloon to life. It was such a cool experience!
Where Did The Idea Come From
My name is Heather Johnson and I have a passion to be financially free!
Back in October of 2020 I took a leap of faith and paid to join an online community to learn how to design and manufacture a product and grow my very own Amazon business.
Being a single mom, I didn’t have the funds for this, and I worried if I was doing the right thing, but I felt this overwhelming push and desire and I knew this was God telling me I had to do this.
If there’s a will there’s a way as my mom has always said!
This was going to be my opportunity to be financially free!
Never did I think I would come this far, but with God’s amazing grace he’s helped me through every difficult step of the way.
I am very proud to say I own my very own Amazon store named Slothie Imports!”
Bringing the Sloth Balloon To Life
Once the sloth balloon creation process was complete, I was waiting for it to arrive.
In the meantime, I needed to make sure I had everything just right for my Amazon listing.
Getting approval to sell on Amazon was much more difficult than I ever imagined.
Amazon is a whole world of its own!
They have an extensive number of rules and different policies to comply with.
One day as well I plan on branching out to have my balloons be more gender-specific.
Having the sloth holding pink balloons or blue balloons or having a gender reveal balloon for all those fun gender reveal parties.
One day I hope to be able to say I have enough passive income to work for amazon full time where I can quit my full-time job and be a more present and dedicated mom.
I have big dreams of being able to travel around the world and give my son as many special memories as possible.
I pray one day I can also pay it forward to as many people as I can either by giving my knowledge of this business or by helping in communities.
