The Extreme Life Of A Sloth

Sloths are the slowest mammal on the planet. But as strange as they seem the sloth is perfectly adapted to their environment and is actually slow for a very important reason.

The Extreme Life of a Sloth

In fact, sloths are far from boring and are a lot more extreme than it seems. With an ecosystem on their backs, which scientists believe may even be capable of curing cancer. They even risk their lives to poop and when they do, they make it count, pooping over 30% of their body weight.

  1. Now I've heard people pronounce "sloth" the way you do before — to rhyme with "cloth" instead of to rhyme with "both" — but 1:39 "three-fingered" instead of "three-toed" — that's a new one on me.

  2. You know in movies where someone falls off a building and in slow motion the hero says, "Noooooooooooooooooo!" ?

Does that mean in a sloth version the hero reaches out and says, "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo." ?

  3. This is quite frankly the most interesting sloth video I have ever seen. The facts were amazing since this is one of my favorite animals in the world. Of course, I no longer have it on my bucket list to hold one due to the parasites and insects in it's fur but hey… I still love em. So hey, thanks πŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ˜•πŸ™ƒ
