“Sloths Are Slow” book came about to commemorate the loving memory of Thomas Scully. Sadly young Scully lost his life at the tender age of 12 due to a very bad case of malignant brain tumor. So this book was made to help remember Scully, bring awareness, and to raise funds that will benefit Down Syndrome children and their families. Part of the proceeds from the sales of these kids sloth book is donated to the GiGi’s Playhouse of Long Island. GiGi’s Playhouse mission is to increase awareness of Down Syndrome and they do it with educational programs, national campaigns and by helping sufferers of Down Syndrome and their community.
